boarding

“Do not be afraid of growing slowly, be afraid only of standing still” – Orina.
This must be said of the boarders at Bishop Bavin School, they are not standing still but are growing slowly as they once again proved their commitment and hard work to the School and Residences.

This year also saw the arrival of Dr David Payaniandi and Mr Dirk Odendal as Boarding Masters, their commitment and dedication to the boarding house made for a fresh new input in the life of the residents.

“Genius does what it must, and Talent does what it can” – Einstein. And the Boarders once again played a major role in school life as can be seen by the numerous activities they have participated in and achieved successes in. Well done to all of you guys and girls for using all your talents and genius to bring honour and prestige to us your school, your parents and yourself.

Sincere thanks goes to our Rector Revd Dr Morgan Ellis for his continued support and to Mrs Ellis and her catering department a BIG thank you for looking after all our dietary needs, the food coming from the kitchen is simply delicious.

To Mr Greg Ellis and Mr Dirk Odendal for their help with the renovations and the new TV in Crawford House a big thank you, as this is part of our commitment to improve on the living standards for our boarders.

To all the duty teachers THANK YOU for your input and support with the Boarders and helping with the smooth running of the Houses.
